Jeremy Webb has been a registered Osteopath since 2007 a sports Injury therapist and personal trainer since 1999.

A keen sportsman himself he represented England at basketball in his teens but now a little older tends to spend more time on the sedentary fairways of the golf course!

He always thought this interest in sports would lead to him being driven towards a rehabilitation based practice. However during his training and in the early years of his practice the broad benefits of Osteopathy became more and more obvious. General practice really is the place to make a real difference to people lives.

“I feel very fortunate to be able to help people on a daily basis.”

Qualifications and regulation

Osteopaths undertake a four year BSc degree programme, on completion of their theory degree they must then pass their final clinical competency exam to be able to practice. Once in practice they must complete 30 hrs of CPD (continued professional development) per year.

Osteopaths are regulated by the GOsC (General Osteopathic Council). This body holds a registered list of people who have met the required standards to practice Osteopathy. The title ‘Osteopath’ is protected by UK law.

“Osteopathy can help people be the best version of themselves, it keeps people active and pain free.”
